Nine people have been killed in an Israeli airstrike on Rafah located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian Health Ministry reported on Friday. Three more Palestinians were killed in Khan Younis, also located in the southern part of the Strip.

According to the ministry, 9 more people have been killed in airstrikes in the central and northern parts of the Palestinian enclave. The Palestine News Agency WAFA reported that airstrikes have been targeting the vicinity of the Nasser Hospital in the city of Khan Younis.

The renewed airstrikes on the Gaza Strip came following the news that the temporary ceasefire between the two sides ended, with Israel accusing Hamas of violating the agreement. Namely, Israel stated that Hamas fired rockets toward Israel this morning.
