The White House fully supports United States Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer in his efforts to get the Build Back Better Act (BBBA) through Senate by December 25, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday.
US President Joe Biden and Senator Joe Manchin will have a meeting later today, Psaki confirmed during a press conference, adding that Biden plans to provide points that would help Manchin shrug off some of the worries related to the passing of the law, and its consequences on the inflation in the country.
Psaki described the US Congressional Budget Office's (CBO) assessment of the bill as a "fake CBO score," claiming that the analysis is "not based on an actual bill that anybody is voting on."
