Biden, Netanyahu reportedly at odds over withheld PA tax revenues

United States President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a difficult moment by the end of their latest phone talk, Axios reported on Thursday, citing officials with knowledge of the matter. During the talk, Biden raised his concerns about the withheld Palestinian tax revenues.

According to the report, Biden expressed frustration with Israel withholding tax revenues from the Palestinian Authority because these are crucial to the group's functioning and economic stability.

The call ended with Biden expecting Netanyahu to resolve the issue, stressing the importance of mutual trust and cooperation between the two nations.
