United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed on Tuesday that Iran provided Russia with ballistic missiles, confirming previous media reports.
"Russia has now received shipments of these ballistic missiles and will likely use them within weeks in Ukraine, against Ukrainians," Blinken warned during a joint press conference with United Kingdom Foreign Secretary David Lammy in London.
Blinken also revealed that the US will reveal a new package of sanctions against Iran, including against Iran Air, later in the day, and called on Washington's allies to do the same.
