Blinken kicks off Middle East trip with visit to Israel

United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel on Sunday as part of his latest Middle East trip.

The US top diplomat is expected to push for reaching a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Blinken is set to meet Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and President Isaac Herzog, on Monday and will then travel to Cairo on Tuesday, where ceasefire talks are set to continue.
