The United States Department of State announced on Wednesday that Secretary Antony Blinken will travel to China and the United Kingdom between June 16 and 21.
In Beijing, Blinken is expected to engage with senior Chinese officials to discuss key aspects of the bilateral relationship, including the importance of keeping communication lines open. The conversation will also cover other global and regional issues, as well as address potential collaboration on international challenges.
Subsequently, Blinken will attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London, where allies will gather to mobilize new support to assist Ukraine in its recovery from Russia's aggression. The secretary will meet with British, Ukrainian, and other representatives of allied nations during his visit, the State Department concluded.
