The China Coast Guard (CCG) stated on Monday that a Philippine supply ship "dangerously and in an unprofessional manner approached Chinese vessels," causing a collision in waters near the Second Thomas Shoal, South China Sea, the Global Times reported.
The CCG said that the Philippine ship ignored multiple warnings after it "illegally entered" the waters and collided with Chinese ships that were "navigating normally."
"The responsibility for the incident lies entirely with the Philippine side," the CCG stressed.
