China's central bank cuts MLF rate by 30bps

The People's Bank of China (PBoC) decided to cut its one-year medium-term lending facility (MLF) loan rate on Wednesday from 2.3% to 2%.

The bank cut the rate on 300 billion yuan ($42.66 billion) of one-year MLF loans by 30 basis points.

The move comes just a day after the central bank announced a slew of monetary easing measures.

China's central bank leaves key rates unchanged
The People's Bank of China (PBoC) left the benchmark interest rates unchanged on Monday, in accordance with market expectations.The 1-year Loan Prime Rate (LPR) was kept at 3.1% while the 5-year LPR remained at 3.6%.PBoC's last policy adjustment came in October last year, when it lowered both rates by 25 basis points.
