Chinese Ambassador to the United Nations Zhang Jun warned on Tuesday against the "things which may lead other parts of the world into crisis" like the one in Ukraine, in a reference to the most recent agreement between the US, the UK, and Australia.

The statement was made after a report published hours earlier that says the countries mentioned above will cooperate on the development of hypersonic weapons.

The remarks come amid growing concern by the US and allies about China's growing military.
