Costco Q1 net sales up 7.5% to $60.99 billion

Costco Wholesale Corp. unveiled on Thursday that its net sales in the first quarter of its fiscal 2025 stood at $60.99 billion, advancing by 7.5% compared to the same quarter from the previous year.

The warehouse store company's total revenue was $62.1 billion during the first trimester, gaining 7.5% year over year, and surpassing analysts' expectations. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at $4.04, increasing by 12.8% compared to the same period of its fiscal 2024. Net income increased by 13.1% on an annual basis to clock in at $1.8 billion.

The company's stocks went up by 0.80% in the after-hours trading after the report was published.
