Cryptos crash over 8% following Iran's attack on Israel

The prices of major cryptocurrencies nosedived on Saturday following the news that Iran launched a highly anticipated strike on Israel.

The move seemingly raised concerns over whether this could potentially lead to exacerbation of the conflict in the Middle East, even though Tehran promised that its actions would be limited.

Bitcoin slumped 8.10% at 4:24 pm ET, going for $62,231. At the same time, Ethereum plunged 9.35%, selling for $2,939.
