Deutsche Telekom AG announced on Thursday that net profit in the third quarter of its fiscal 2024 soared 53.7% year over year to €2.9 billion.
The company's revenue totaled €28.5 billion after a 3.4% jump compared to the third trimester of fiscal 2023. In the third trimester of 2024, earnings per share stood at €0.60, surging 55.2% from a year ago.
"In view of the overall sound business performance, we are raising our guidance for adjusted EBITDA AL [earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization after leases] of the Group for the 2024 financial year. Instead of around EUR 42.9 billion, we now expect to post adjusted EBITDA AL of around 43.0 billion," the company said in a statement.
