Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is projected to have secured the electoral votes needed to become the next president of the United States, following his victory in the key battleground state of Wisconsin, Fox News reported and declared him the winner of the 2024 presidential election.
The state brought Trump an additional 10 electoral votes, raising his total to 277 and surpassing the 270 needed to secure the presidency. The Republican candidate is expected to make an address soon from Florida.
Democrat Kamala Harris is said to have won most of the ballots in Minnesota, with her vote count going up to 226.
