Dow up 360 points, hits all-time high

Major stock indexes in the United States extended gains during Thursday's trading session, with the Dow Jones and the S&P 500 hitting all-time highs. The indexes were boosted by technology giants such as Microsoft Corporation, Salesforce Inc. and Nvidia Corporation, which continued its rally after posting better-than-expected financial results.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.95% or 367 points at 9:56 am ET, hitting an all-time high. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 climbed 2.18%, while the S&P 500 added 1.55%, reaching a fresh record high of 5,064 points.

The euro was flat against the dollar at 9:56 am ET, trading at $1.08159.
