The supreme court of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) sentenced 3 foreign mercenaries, two British and one Moroccan national, who fought alongside Ukrainian forces, to the death penalty, RIA News reported on Thursday.
The DPR investigative body claimed the fighters took part in the aggression against the republic's forces with the goal of overthrowing the current government. It was also noted that the death penalty will be conducted by shooting.
Earlier today, Vitaly Khotsenko, the new prime minister of DPR, told Rossiya-24 that the region's integration with Russia is already underway.
