Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and French President Emmanuel Macron plan to visit Kiev on June 16, Italian newspaper La Stampa reported on Monday.
According to the report, the leaders of the three European countries will meet in Ukraine's capital to show support to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the ongoing conflict in his country. The main topics of the meeting will be Ukraine's application for the status of a candidate for entry into the European Union, as well as the grain export routes.
Bild am Sonntag reported about the Kiev meeting on Saturday, while Macron announced earlier this month the possibility of visiting Kiev in the near future.
