The European Union adopted on Wednesday the seventh package of sanctions against Russia. According to Lithuania’s Permanent Representative to the EU Arnoldas Pranckevicius, the new round of measures includes a ban on Russian gold, freezing the assets of Sberbank, as well as improved export controls.
In addition, the sanctions will add more than 50 Russian individuals and entities to the list, "including politicians, military leaders, oligarchs, propagandists."
