Major stock markets in Europe opened lower on Tuesday ahead of the release of the latest reports on the services sectors in Germany, the Eurozone, and the United Kingdom. Investors will also keep an eye on the newest developments in the conflict in Ukraine, including the United Nations (UN) Security Council's (UNSC) meeting on the matter.
The DAX opened 0.12% lower as Henkel AG lost 2.38%. Meanwhile, the FTSE 100 and the CAC 40 stood flat at the opening.
The euro stood flat against the dollar at 8:59 am CET to go for $1.09762. At the same time, the pound sterling gained 0.17% to sell for $1.31361.
