European Council President Charles Michel said on Sunday that he is "shocked" by the "atrocities" committed by Russian troops in Bucha, near Kiev.
Michel threatened Russia with more sanctions in response to its actions in Ukraine and added the European Union is assisting Ukraine in "gathering of the necessary evidence for pursuit in international courts."
Earlier, Ukrainian presidential spokesman Sergey Nikiforov claimed that scenes found in regions liberated from Russian troops, including Bucha, look "exactly like war crimes" were committed there.
