The Russian Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated on Wednesday in a Telegram post that he heard several sounds "similar to explosions", though the main cause has not yet been determined.
Later, Gladkov noted that a Russian ammunition depot caught fire, adding that no civilians were hurt in the process.
On Monday last week, Gladkov relayed on Telegram that Ukrainian forces carried out shelling in the Graivoronsky district of the Belgorod region.
