Far-right National Rally dominated France's European Parliament elections, surpassing President Emmanuel Macron's centrist party, exit polls showed.
Marion Marechal, descendant of the party's founder Jean-Marie Le Pen, secured a seat with her party, Reconquest!, clinching 5.2% of the vote, just meeting the threshold.
The far-right's ascendancy in France is evident, with National Rally leading at 32.4%, while Macron's allies lag at 15.2%.
