Federal Reserve Board of Governors Member Christopher Waller stated on Wednesday that inflation in the United States has peaked, but stressed that no guarantees can be made.
There is not much the Fed can do in regard to the supply-side issues, Waller asserted in an interview with CNBC, adding that "it is completely feasible" that the US will avoid recession thanks to the central bank's actions in regard to demand.
"Over time, the supply-side problems will sort themselves out," he concluded.
