Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko (pictured) stated on Thursday the first examinations of Sputnik Light, the one-shot vaccine against COVID-19 developed by the Gamaleya Institute Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, had shown encouraging results.
Murashko added the jab could later be used for revaccination if it proved effective.
The clinical trials of Sputnik Light began in February. The Health Ministry received a request for its registration in March.
