Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy reported in his Telegram post five missile strikes in Lviv on Monday morning. The mayor did not disclose any information about the casualties in the attack.
Local residents noted several explosions and black smoke above the city earlier, and the Governor of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maxim Kozitsky confirmed the attack alerting people to stay in their shelters until further notice from the government officials.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Presidential Adviser Mykhailo Podolyak condemned the airstrike, writing "the Russians continue to barbarically attack Ukrainian cities from the air" on his Twitter account.
