Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani (pictured) underscored on Monday that Tehran "never" left the negotiating table regarding the 2015 nuclear deal with Washington.
Speaking at the press briefing, the ministry's spokesperson explained that Tehran consistently demonstrated "serious readiness" to conduct "substantive" negotiations in order to reach the agreement while safeguarding Iran's national interests.
In May, United States National Security Council chief spokesperson John Kirby said that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) currently was not Washington's top priority.
