Ford Motor Company announced on Thursday it is recalling 98,550 Ranger models in the United States because replacement front passenger airbag inflators may have been installed incorrectly.
The move covers 2004-2006 Ranger pickup truck models that were already the subject of recalls in 2017 and 2018, according to the data provided by the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
In the accompanying documents, Ford stated that it was not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries related to the faulty mechanism.
