Israeli Minister without Portfolio Benny Gantz stepped down from the country's war cabinet.

Gantz emphasized the need to look ahead after eight months of intense conflict, urging Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to take necessary actions. "We depart the unity government with heavy hearts," he remarked, recognizing the sacrifices made by over 1,000 families and countless injured soldiers.

Gantz's resignation comes amid international condemnation of Netanyahu's government's actions in Gaza.
