Google releases its 'most capable,' largest AI model, Gemini

Alphabet Inc.'s Google announced Wednesday the launch of what they describe as their "most capable" and largest AI model, Gemini.

According to the company's announcement, Gemini "was built from the ground up to be multimodal, which means it can generalize and seamlessly understand, operate, and combine different types of information, such as text, code, audio, image, and video." Gemini is described as "the most flexible model," able to run either o data centers or mobile devices.

With today's launch, Google is introducing three versions based on Gemini's capacity and efficiency: Ultra, Pro, and Nano. Moreover, Bard will also use "a fine-tuned version of Gemini Pro," representing the most significant update to Google's bot.
