The participants in the fourth Republican presidential primary debate finally started discussing former United States President Donald Trump.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley slammed Trump's "excessive" spending yet again. "As much as everyone wants to talk about how Donald Trump had a good economy, $9 trillion in debt, he did just in four years. And we’re all paying the price of that," she stressed.

Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that "the borrowing, printing, and spending of money was both parties in Washington DC," adding that it is a fact that "Republicans in Washington have spent." He added that he believes "we need to have somebody younger" to run the country and that someone close to 80 years old shouldn't be chosen.
