The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry revealed on Thursday that the number of Palestinians who have been killed in the enclave during the group's conflict with Israel has now reached 30,035.
According to the ministry's latest estimates, the count of individuals who have been injured in the territory since October 7 has risen to 70,457. In the past day alone, Israeli attacks in different parts of Gaza resulted in the deaths of 81 Palestinians and left 132 others wounded.
In the meantime, mediators suggest that ceasefire talks between the parties have stagnated, while aid organizations raise concerns about an impending famine in northern Gaza. The most recent proposal for a cessation of hostilities and the release of hostages has been dismissed by both Hamas and Israeli officials.
