Hamas said on Monday that the attacks they perpetrated in the Israeli central city of Raanana that left one woman dead and 17 people injured are "a natural response" to the "aggressions" that Palestinian civilians are encountering in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In a Telegram post, the group said that "youth" forces are being called to "escalate" the strikes "until the Nazi occupation is defeated, [their] land and holy sites are liberated, and a Palestinian state is established with Jerusalem as its capital."
Israeli Police reported that two suspects in the attack who illegally entered Israeli territory are in custody after taking cars to run over people.
