Honda Motor Co. Ltd. reported on Thursday that its sales revenue for the third quarter of fiscal 2024 stood at ¥5.39 trillion (~$36 billion), up 21% compared to the same trimester the year prior. The rise in sales was primarily driven by "stable demand" for vehicles across the United States and "recovery in production in Japan."
Operating profit jumped 35% year on year to ¥379.8 billion, while earnings per share jumped 8% to ¥52.04.
The Japanese carmaker raised its full-year guidance, revealing that it expects its sales revenue to hit ¥20.2 trillion, which represents a 19.5% jump compared to the year before.
