Yemen-based Houthi group on Sunday pledged to respond to the joint United States and United Kingdom raids on 36 Houthi targets across 13 locations in Yemen, according to Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree.
The strikes, in retaliation for repeated Red Sea attacks, targeted the capital, Sanaa, and other rebel-held areas.
The air raids occurred late Saturday night, coinciding with unilateral US strikes against Iran-linked targets in Iraq and Syria.
