UK to abide by 'legal obligations' linked to ICC

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer's spokesperson emphasized that the government is committed to meeting its "legal obligations" concerning the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court, Sky News said on Friday.

"The UK will always comply with its legal obligations as set out by domestic law and indeed international law," the spokesman added.

With this declaration, the UK aligns itself with other countries such as France, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, and Ireland, who have previously declared their intention to detain Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he enter their borders.
