IDF probing failed rocket interceptions, shrapnel injures 5 in Haifa

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said it is investigating failed attempts to intercept five rockets launched from Lebanon at Haifa on Sunday, the Times of Israel reported.

"Interception attempts were made," the IDF said, adding that "the incident is being investigated." Five Israelis were injured in the rocket impact, all of them struck by shrapnel, according to the Rambam Hospital.

None are in a life-threatening condition.
