Israel claims Iran in talks to sell arms to 50 countries

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant claimed on Friday that Iran became a "global exporter of lethal weaponry" within the last year and that it is in discussions to sell arms to as many as 50 countries around the world. Tehran's exports include drones and precision-guided munitions, he told the Munich Security Conference.

Gallant urged the international community to stop Iran's "proliferation of advanced weapons." He said the United Nations must adopt a new mechanism to control Iran's arms exports, reminding that the embargo on Iranian missiles will expire later this year.
