International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva stated on Monday that the global economic outlook has worsened since April when the IMF last made its predictions.
A global recession is not likely at the moment, but we may see a recession in "certain countries" the economies of which "were weaker, to begin with," she added during a World Economic Forum panel.
Global growth is projected to stand at 3.6% in both 2022 and 2023, according to IMF's April report.
