China's industrial production advanced by 5.3% in June compared to the same time last year, according to data from China's National Bureau of Statistics released on Monday.
The growth, when observed by types of ownership, saw an increase in state-holding enterprises by 4.6% year-on-year, while share-holding and private holdings enterprises saw growth of 6.5% and 5.7% respectively. Enterprises funded by foreign investors or investors from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan saw an increase of 4.3%. Year-to-date, industrial production in China grew by 6% compared to the same six-month period in 2023.
