Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said on Thursday that the number of people killed in explosions at the event dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the killing of Iranian Army General Qasem Soleimani in Kerman currently stands at 84.
During his visit to the victims of the attack, Vahidi stated that the number of injured people rose to 284, stressing that some of the wounded are in critical condition. He also that the incident “demonstrated the depth of the enemies' malevolence," emphasizing that the perpetrators will be detained and punished by the security forces and the Iranian nation.
On Wednesday, Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einollahi revised the death toll to 95 from the previous 103, claiming that some names had been repeated on a list of victims.
