Iran prevents US 'act of piracy' - reports

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) successfully thwarted the United States Navy's "act of piracy," according to Iranian media reports on Wednesday.

With the help of "several" warships and helicopters, US forces reportedly tried to "take over" an Iranian oil tanker in the Sea of Oman.

The tanker returned to Iranian waters.
