Iraq supports Iran in talks with US

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein reaffirmed on Monday Iraq's support of the current dialogue between Tehran and Washington.

In the release published by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein "expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing dialogue, appreciating the positive role played by the Sultanate of Oman in facilitating the negotiations."

He stressed "Iraq's support for any effort that contributes to enhancing regional security and stability."
