Israel in talks with US over reducing tariffs

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced that Israel was in talks with the United States to reduce tariffs imposed by United States President Donald Trump.

"The Ministry of Finance is maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the US administration with the aim of reducing the scope of the tariffs and reducing their impact on Israeli industry," Smotrich wrote in a post on X.

Earlier this week, Smotrich lifted all Israeli tariffs on US imports.
