Israel issues evacuation order for 10 Lebanese towns

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Thursday instructed residents of ten towns and villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately as the military plans to "act forcefully against" Hezbollah targets located in those areas, the IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraeen said in a post on X.

"For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move to the north of the Awali River," Adraeen stated. "You are prohibited from heading south. Any movement south could be dangerous to your life," he added.

Furthermore, the spokesman warned that all the people in the vicinity of Hezbollah sites "are putting their lives in danger."
