Israel Defence Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff General Harzi Halevi stated that Israel used only a part of its capabilities in the recent strikes on Iran, adding that it is prepared to take further action if necessary.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the IDF revealed that Halevi held a situational assessment meeting at the headquarters of the Defense Ministry on Saturday to evaluate the results of the army's airstrikes on targets in Iran. Halevi again repeated that Israel can reach any target in the Middle East and has the capability to do so. "We hit strategic formations in Iran, it is of great importance, and we will see how things develop. We are ready for all scenarios," Halevi stressed.

Meanwhile, Washington called on Iran not to respond whereas Israel warned it would repeat the operation if Tehran "makes a mistake" and retaliates.
