The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) released a map on Friday containing guidance for Gaza residents on evacuation measures "to avoid causing loss of civilian life or injury."
"In preparation for the next stage of the war, the IDF is publishing the Evacuation Zone Map in the Gaza Strip. The map divides the territory of the Gaza Strip into zones according to recognizable areas to enable the residents of Gaza to orient themselves and understand the instructions and to evacuate from specific places for their safety if required," the army said.
In a related development, Al Jazeera reported that Israeli soldiers have been distributing leaflets in specific regions of Khan Younis, which is located in the southern area of the Gaza Strip. The leaflets order the locals to evacuate southwards towards Rafah.
