Israel reportedly hits near Iranian consulate in Syria

The Israeli military targeted a building in the vicinity of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, local media reported on Monday.

According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, their air defenses successfully intercepted "hostile targets" in the Mezzeh area of Damascus. As of now, the strike reportedly "caused extensive destruction to the building in addition to damage to neighboring buildings."

IDF says it struck two Syrian air bases again
