The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out airstrikes against several Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, hours after the militant organization announced it struck IDF bases in northern Israel.
"In the last hour, fighter jets attacked military depots and military buildings of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the areas of Tir Harfa, Al Adisa, Bleida and the village of Shoba in southern Lebanon," the IDF wrote in a post published on the army's official X social media profile.
Israel's army also said "three launches" from Lebanon triggered alerts in the Matat area and an additional ten launches were detected in the Upper Galilee area but did not result in casualties or damage.
