The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Sunday that they will introduce daily "tactical pauses" to allow more humanitarian aid to enter the southern Gaza Strip. The pauses will take place between 8 am and 7 pm "along the road that leads from the Kerem Shalom Crossing to the Salah al-Din Road and then further north."
The IDF said the decision was reached following discussions with the United Nations and other international organizations. "The IDF will continue to support humanitarian efforts on the ground," the military said.
