Israeli military confirms attacks against Hamas across Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that its troops continued to conduct widespread airstrikes targeting multiple Hamas sites across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning.

The news comes amid ongoing Israeli military operations in the region, with a total of 1,707 targets struck since Saturday, including missile systems, command centers, strategic infrastructure and underground facilities, the IDF confirmed.

The situation in the region escalated over the weekend when the Palestinian branch of Hamas attacked Israel from Gaza.
