At least nine people were supposedly killed in Israeli airstrikes on Yemen, the Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV reported on Thursday.

The strikes, which the Israeli military said targeted "Houthi military targets in Yemen including ports and energy infrastructures in Sanaa," came shortly after the IDF downed a missile launched from Yemen. Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Daniel Hagari alleged that the targets struck by Israel were used by the Houthis "in ways that effectively contributed to their military action."

Citing its correspondent in the port city of Hodeida, Al Masirah TV said the strikes killed seven people in the port of as-Salif and two others at the Ras Isa oil facility.
